Thanks so much for taking the time to visit Lorcana Is Fun! It really means a lot, even if you’re just scrolling through or reading a post or two.
In this page, I’d like to share a little bit about my Lorcana journey and collection, and how this site came to be.
Dawn of something new
When Disney Lorcana first launched in 2023, I was ecstatic, I’ve always been a huge Disney fan! But that excitement quickly turned into disappointment when I learned that our country couldn’t officially bring in the product due to licensing issues.
Some local stores managed to parallel import Lorcana products, but it just wasn’t the same. Without official Organized Play or Store Championships, and with limited buy/sell opportunities, the community felt too small to dive into. So, reluctantly, I decided to hold off on starting my Lorcana journey.
Disney comes to Asia
Fast forward to May 2025 — the best news ever arrived: Disney Lorcana is officially coming to Singapore!
I couldn’t be happier. I started saving up and prepared to jump right in with the latest rotation (Sets 5–8). I might’ve gone a little overboard, spending nearly an entire month’s salary on half a case, two starter decks, and an Illumineer’s Trove for each of those set. But honestly, it was worth every cent to finally experience Lorcana the way it was meant to be played.
My Collection
I’m not a hardcore collector compared to some fellow Illumineers, my goal is simply to have one copy of every playable card in the game. I don’t chase alternate arts, Enchanted cards, or promos; I just love having a complete playable collection.
204 cards from each set is plenty for me, enough to enjoy the game and explore different decks!

Competitive Play
I’d describe myself as both a collector and a player. Am I competitive? I think so! I’m always looking out for meta strategies, and if you’ve read my set reviews, you’ll notice they’re written with the competitive scene in mind.
That said, I truly enjoy the social and community aspect of Lorcana. I love hanging out with fellow players, chatting with store owners, and helping build a stronger, more welcoming community. I believe a great game grows when everyone — players, collectors, and shops — supports each other.
Whenever I can, I guide new players, share insights, and even help judge events when needed. At the end of the day, it’s all about enjoying the game together.
